Many of our patients have benefitted from our surgeons’ extensive experience with emergency same-day implant procedures, which enable them to remove a damaged or failing tooth and immediately place a dental implant. Dr. Piyush Patel, D.D.S

Dr. Piyush Patel is excited to join Signature dental implants and oral surgery and continue caring for patients in the Atlanta area. He earned his dental degree from the University of Tennessee before completing his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Emory University in 2005. Since then he has been practicing in the Atlanta area providing compassionate surgical care to his patients. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Patel has contributed multiple book chapters including in the third edition of Clinical Review of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, released in 2024.
Christine Shurley, D.D.S.
DDS
Dr. Shurley has performed a broad scope of oral surgery procedures, including dental implants, facial cosmetics, corrective jaw surgery, pathology, and high-risk trauma cases. She values expanding the field of oral surgery and has been published in national and international medical journals highlighting accomplishments in the field. Dr. Shurley is board-certified and is an active member of several professional organizations.
Craig Taylor, D.M.D.

Dr. Taylor brought a unique perspective when he joined the practice. Having practiced as a general dentist for three years, he understands the nuances of restorative implant dentistry, which allows him to develop personalized treatment plans for patients with a clear vision of the final restoration in mind.

Cutting-Edge Tech
Our Cone Beam CT Scanner, the i-CAT FLX is the very latest in dental imaging technology. The robust 3D images are highly accurate and detailed three dimensional views of the patient’s anatomy including bone, root orientation, tooth and nerve relationships, as well as unparallel views of sinus and airway anatomy. The i-CAT FLX provides scans at a significantly lower radiation dosage, often less than a conventional panorex. Having the technology in our office eliminates the inconvenience of sending the patient to an outside imaging center and significantly reduces the cost to the patient.
